Meet the management team:

Valerie Henare - Dip Tch (ECE), NZTC Reg

I am Centre Manager at Frimley Playhouse, and have been working in the Early Childhood field for 13 years. I have my Diploma in Early Childhood Education and I am fully registered. I have 3 grown up children, 3 grandsons, and 1 boxer dog called Murphy. I love working in the early childhood profession as it is constantly changing so there is always something new to learn. I enjoy leading such a great team of dedicated teachers.

I am Head Teacher in the Over Two’s. I have 5 children - 2 boys and 3 girls. I enjoy spending my spare time with my family and extended family. I have 7 years experience in Early Childhood Education. I am very passionate about working with young children, and getting to know their parents and whanau. I achieved my goal of completing my Dip ECE through EIT in 2008 while working at Frimley Playhouse. I am currently working on my Teacher Registration, finishing in 2010.

Blanche Berry - Dip Tch (ECE), Prof Reg

I am the Head Teacher in the Under Two's. I am a qualified teacher with my diploma of teaching and am currently working towards full registration. I am a mum to three beautiful children Luke, Celine and Aaron. I love my chosen career and have a passion for working with and learning alongside infants and toddlers. My hobbies and interests include anything involving art and creativity, and I really enjoy sharing this interest with the children I work with.

Our team is fully committed to furthering their own education and skills with the support of Frimley Playhouse. We also make sure all team members have plenty of time to provide formal and informal feedback on children's progress.
